Happy Christmahanakwanzika!
'Tis the season for giving; whether you show charitable support for those in need, or you use your talents (gifts) to enrich the lives of others.
Spread the love , keep "living the dream" and share what's alive in your heart with the world!

See you at the studios.
Please Donate to RGNY's Annual Toy Drive
Now through Dec. 21st
All donations will go to  Sanctuary for Families Sarah Burke House , a domestic violence shelter for woman and children. We are accepting used toys for children ages 1-12 (boys and girls) at any RGNY location.
Make-A-Wish Fundraiser
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy!
Whatever the odds, whatever the obstacles, Make-A-Wish finds a way to make dreams come true, which can be a game changer for a child with a life threatening medical condition. And granted wishes are far more than gifts, or singular events in time. Wishes impact everyone involved - wish kids and their families, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities.

There are several ways you can donate!
Now through Feb. 10th, donation boxes will be set up at all 4 RGNY locations. We are selling blue bottles, gently used clothing, "Grinch" Luggage tags and for a donation of $5 or more, you can receive a beautiful Holiday Ornament!!!
Ripley-Grier Studios will match donations up to a donated total of $600.

Hi and Happy Holidays!!
Have a wonderful time over holidays; and Have a Happy New Year!! This is the best time of year to be with family and friends. Do your best to try not to overeat and stay with your fitness routine. Of course make any healthy New Year's resolutions that will keep you on track to enjoying a healthy life (My Mom and I quit smoking together on New Years many years ago).
Winter is a good time to de-clutter especially if you are receiving more "stuff" over the holidays. Repurposing and re-gifting are good ways to do so. Donating toys to various organizations (we have a toy drive here at RG this year) is a great way to help make less fortunate children feel loved and brighten up their holidays. Donating coats and warm outerwear helps folks get through the winter as well. Volunteer at a soup kitchen or another helpful organization. And, always count your blessings.

All the best, better and better,
Patricia

Happy Holidays everyone!
The fall semester of my second year of college is coming to an end. I will definitely miss my classes, but I'm really looking forward to the classes I'm taking next semester. I participated in our annual Hofstra Band Concert on December 8th. The Wind Ensemble and the Concert Band (I play the saxophone) played 4 songs each. It was a beautiful performance by both groups! For Christmas this year (as always) I'm going to Oklahoma to visit my Dad's side of the family. Then my parents and I will be going to Los Angeles again for New Year's. We will be meeting my friend Rayleene, and then after New Year's we will all be traveling to Mexico to a new resort in Puerto Penasco, on the Sea of Cortez. I will miss my dog Johnny and my cat Savannah.
See you next year, Jeannie
