Seasons Greetings, Friends!

For all of us here at Ripley-Grier Studios it truly is the most wonderful time of the year. It's a time of magic and light, hope and wonder. And this year is especially meaningful as we look back and remember the gifts we've received and how we've grown. Since the beginning of the decade we've created 42 new studios, a whole new location, a Black-box Theatre (that's seen some pretty epic performances) and made countless new friends. But none of this could have happened without all of you. It's the passions of the people that make RG a magical place. Without the incredible artistry and dedication of both our staff and clientele, we would just be a bunch of boring rooms. But instead, our hallways are full of music, art and inspiration, and as we enter this new decade, one thing is clear: What we do here matters. It's beautiful. It's magic.
We're grateful for you all. Happy Holidays!

You bring the magic, we'll provide the space.
See you at the studios.

We're getting a late start this month as we were planning our Holiday Party, handing out our Holiday Bonuses and decorating all four locations. Whew! What a couple of weeks it has been.

Now we are ready to enjoy our time with friends and family. Trying to stay healthy and not be stressed out are major endeavors this time of year. Again, my advice is to learn to say "No". No to too much food and drink, to the many invites and events. Keep it as simple as possible and celebrate the really important time with folks you love and like to be around (No politics please).. Most of all enjoy your Holidays and look forward to a great New Year!
We are heading to Tulsa to be with our family there including our Son, Daughter-in-law and Grandkids who will be flying in also. Jeannie is finishing up her finals this week and deserves time to relax and visit friends. We'll be heading to LA and up to San Francisco to visit relatives and friends before heading back to NY.

My advice is to keep moving, fit in some short but efficient workouts every day (even 10 minutes two to three times a day works). Stretching in the AM while in bed is great; and some power moves later in the day. On another note: In the evening when you go to bed, do not have your phone near your head. Keep it at least 3 to 4 feet away and do not look at it less than 15 minutes before lying down. It is too stimulating and that 15 minutes will let your mind concentrate on your bedtime routine and then you can lie down in peace. Do not charge your phone next to you when asleep. Plug it in somewhere else. Get 8 to 9 hours of sleep each night. Try not to eat or drink alcohol at least 2 hours before bed. Alcohol is a stimulant (because it is sugar) and it is also a diuretic so you may wake up and need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Holiday time is a good time to be grateful for your life and to review the current circumstances in your life path. The New Year is an opportunity to review your goals and plan to move forward. You were chosen to be born in this time and location and it is a blessing.
Take care and see you in the New Year!!.. Patricia

Happy Holidays everyone!
The fall semester of my junior year of college is coming to an end. I took my last final today so I'm all done until the end of January. This semester flew by, but it was still a lot of work so I'm so excited to go on vacation. I leave on the 22nd this month with my parents to go to Oklahoma for Christmas, and then the day after we're off to Los Angeles to meet up with my friend Rayleene. After spending New Year's in LA (hoping to go to a Lakers game on New Year's Day) my parents and I are taking Rayleene to San Francisco where we'll meet up with another friend, Julia, who goes to Hofstra and is in the pep-band with me. See you all in the New Year! Jeannie
