IT'S TONY TIME!!! Congrats to all our friends who have been nominated for TONY AWARDS! We're honored that so many of the wonderful shows represented this year have chosen our studios as "home base" for casting, rehearsals and readings. You've truly brightened our hallways here at RG, and we'll be cheering for you on June 9th. And...we can't wait to welcome the next round of future Tony winners to the studios. Speaking of cheering, this month we celebrated Mother's Day! THANK YOU to all the Moms and the women who nurture, inspire and encourage us. The ribbons of your love are woven around our hearts, and we owe so much of our success to you. See you at the studios. |
Greetings and Happy Spring! Finally we are into the 60's in the daytime, phew, it has been a cold spring so far. Butch finally got to play golf last week and I am looking forward to joining him with my Mother's Day gift, new golf clubs! I just have to go pick them out. My clubs are quite old and when we were in Aruba I played with new ones and they felt great. Lately I have been able to get out and ride my bike and do more physical activity as the weather gets warmer. I have been working in the garden at home and cleaning the basement and garage. We are decluttering and it is quite a job, but definitely worth it. We are going to have a "garage sale / estate sale" this year to reduce our possessions. At the studios, we have been selling gently used clothing (old, lost and found). We have also been selling donated items this spring to raise money for Make-A-Wish and have raised quite a lot. I have decided to put together a file of all my Feng Shui and Fitness articles and see if I can create a document or booklet. I will be reviewing and see if I have enough relevant information to publish. We are planning and reserving flights and hotels to coordinate our trip to Europe this June. This will be our third multi-country European trip we take, when Jeannie finishes her Sophomore year at Hofstra. This year we are going to Portugal, Spain, France and England. Really looking forward to going to Spain and Portugal for the first time. So many cultural influences came through Spain from Africa throughout history. In Feng Shui studies, the cultural impact on one's journey through life is a major factor in establishing the direction of each person's life path. Also, through travel you can become more simpatico with other cultures and beliefs, all the while knowing we are all the same human species with the same desires and needs. It is not "us and them"; It is we. Regards, Patricia |
Special Spring Sale! All new students get the first class for $5 (normally $20 per class) and a 10% discount on groups of classes, (10, 20 or 30 classes) See our class schedule above! Participate in the “best class of it’s kind in New York”, (Bob Audy). The class is small and geared toward older fitness students, younger beginner students or folks who want to get back in shape. Hope to hear from you! |
Please feel free to make a donation at any RGNY location. Also... all proceeds from RG pens, water bottles, totes, and "gently used" clothing will continue to benefit this wonderful organization.
The spring semester of my sophomore year of college is coming to an end. I'm finishing up with final exams and papers, and saying goodbye to my friends that are going back home over the summer. For the beginning of my summer vacation, my parents and I are traveling to Europe again. This time, we're going to Portugal, Spain, France and England.
This will be my first time in Portugal and Spain, my second time in France, and my third time in England. We will be going to London last, where we will be attending the two Yankees vs Red Sox games. This will be the first time that there are regular season MLB games in London!
This Summer I will be working at RG and assisting Graham in PR/Marketing. When we get back from Europe, my friend Valentina will be visiting and we will be going to the annual Ripley-Grier employee appreciation dinner with the rest of the staff. See you in the summer!
-Jeannie
Jeannie is the teenage Daughter of RGNY Owners Patricia Ripley & Butch Grier
