I'm Thankful for the Artists;
The creative folks who shine their bright light, showing us the world in their own unique way. Please don't allow people or circumstances to cause you to dim that light. We need it to see!
See you at the studios.

Also, this month we celebrated
Veteran's Day!
Thank you to all the brave Men and Women who have served our country.
And a special Thanks to our fearless leader Butch Grier (Pictured here - far right).

Please Donate to RGNY's Annual Toy Drive
December 1st - 21st
All donations will go to  Sanctuary for Families Sarah Burke House , a domestic violence shelter for woman and children. We are accepting used toys for children ages 1-12 (boys and girls) at any RGNY location.

Make-A-Wish Fundraiser
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy!
Whatever the odds, whatever the obstacles, Make-A-Wish finds a way to make dreams come true, which can be game changer for a child with a life threatening medical condition. And granted wishes are far more than gifts, or singular events in time. Wishes impact everyone involved - wish kids and their families, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. The impact varies. For wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments. Parents might finally feel like they can be optimistic. And still others might realize all they have to offer the world through volunteer work or philanthropy.

There are several ways you can donate!
Starting Dec. 1st, donation boxes will be set up at all 4 RGNY locations and for a donation of $5 or more, you can receive a beautiful Holiday Ornament!!!
Ripley-Grier Studios will match donations up to a donated total of $600.

Retirement Statement
By Michael Dimen
For the last 15 years I have had the privilege of working with Butch and Patricia, and John, and Shakira, and Stas, and Jim,and Eddie, and Tatiana, and Emi, and Noe, and a cast of many others, all of whom have worked with me to define Ripley-Grier as we know it today. It has never been less than exciting to spend my time designing and building new spaces and new business structures. The most wonderful part of all this has been the feedback I've gotten from all my friends at RG: support, affection and respect. That river definitely flows both ways; I will never forget our shared experiences.

Greetings and Happy Thanksgiving!
Hope you all had a fun Halloween. The weather is changing; time to dress warmly and appropriately. Get your workouts planned and stick to them. Do a small stretch workout every morning before you get dressed. Something in bed is great. I have a 9 minute routine that I do every morning which includes bridges, abdominals, deep breathing stretching. I started this routine about 3 months ago. I used to do a 2 minute stretch, but now I find I can do 9 minutes and be ready for the day. If you do that and maybe a stretch later in the day, you can add your cardio anytime. Cardio can be small increments of 20 minutes a day, 5 or more times a week or 30 to 40 minutes 3 or more times a week or 20 minutes two times a day as many days as you can. Watch your eating habits during the holidays. Smaller portions, share meals, save part of your meal, be mindful. Drink liquids even though it is cold you will still be sweating and especially when working out keep water with you all the time. I take a mini water bottle with me and fill up at fountains during the day. If you are interested in Functional Fitness Classes, Butch Grier and I teach 4 classes a week at our RG West 72nd location.
See the featured schedule in this newsletter and get in touch.
At Ripley-Grier Studios we are constantly looking for Feng Shui influences in our decor and our general atmosphere.
We will be doing some painting, lighting, signage and at our RG 939 location we will have a new entrance lobby.
At RG 305 we will be adding sound reduction techniques to the halls via carpeting up the walls. This will help with our efforts to create a more comfortable atmosphere for our clients.
At RG 520 we will be building a new reception area desk to help facilitate clients getting to their studios, checking in and making payments. We are redoing floors and painting doors all the time.
Keep your eyes open for our holiday decorations coming up soon.
Have a wonderful holiday and above all be thankful for the many blessings you have had, are having, and will have in your life.
Better and better, Patricia

Happy Thanksgiving! What are you thankful for? I’m thankful for my family, both adoptive and biological, and all of my friends. For this Thanksgiving we’re celebrating like we have the past few years. We’re having a family dinner at our house and we’re probably going to play some games.
This past month I have gone to one concert, and I have another coming up. I saw twenty one pilots for the third time at NYCB Live in Uniondale. They’re one of my favorite bands and they always put on an amazing show. The next concert I have coming up is a festival called Not So Silent Night at the Barclays Center. Bands like Muse, AJR, Bastille, and more will be there!
Wishing everyone safe travels and a great Thanksgiving. Jeannie
